The Silver Bullet mk2 is the culmination of over 7 years of dreaming, designing, and building: a flagship 2RU stereo Bus/Line/Mic Tone-Amp that brings real analog mojo and streamlined workflow to the modern DAW-based studio. While maintaining the hallmark intuitive workflow of the original mk1 unit thanks to the abundance of I/O and the built-in matrix router, the mk2 features expanded user-customizable MOJO, increased Tone Shaping options, and the new ASPECT RATIO stereo image enhancer—making this desert island tool even more versatile and powerful. We even leveled up the meter and added much-requested fully balanced inserts.
When the Silver Bullet originally debuted in 2014 it was revolutionary: a stereo analog “console” with cascading Mojo Amps and Tone Shaping EQ to glue and sweeten the mix bus, stems, and individual tracks of hybrid analog/digital studios. It even had Mic preamp modes and a built-in matrix I/O router. But we kept collecting ideas for making this powerful tool even more suited to our customers’ creative visions.
Answering the call for flexibility and customization, Silver Bullet mk2 delivers with its twin topology (A or N) Mojo Amps, and adds an exciting twist—a third Mojo slot accepting either new stereo Mojo Modules or Colour Modules. Select from the following pre-installed options:

Here's how our pre-orders work:
1. Click the "Pre-order" button on the product page.
2. If required, enter your name and email in the form that pops up and click "Pre-order" at the bottom. Only click the button once!
3. We will send you a confirmation email.
4. Proceed to checkout and enter your delivery and payment info.
5. Cick the "Pay now" button to submit your order. You will be charged at this time.
6. When we are ready to ship we will send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking number.
7. Paid orders will ship by the agreed upon date, in the order in which payments were completed.

When will I be charged for my order?

When will you ship my order?
If you see an "Add to Cart" button then that means we have items in stock and will ship your order within 7-10 business days. For pre-orders we intended to ship within the time frame noted in the pre-order. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order ships. We will update this FAQ with new information as necessary.
Will you ship the Silver Bullet without the Mojo Module option I pre-ordered so I can get it early?
No, we will only ship fully assembled and tested units once the pre-ordered Mojo Module is ready.
How much progress have the droids made building this awesome new product so far?
Major components like all major PCB assemblies, transformers, enclosures, and faceplates are presently on-hand. Additional parts like potentiometers, knobs, switch caps, meter windows, and shipping cartons are also in stock. Every week the droids assemble, calibrate, and test new units. Once they complete assembly they will then box up the product for safe shipping to your studio.
How long does it take to manufacture a product like the Silver Bullet mk2?
We are finding that it generally takes 10-14 weeks to have PCBs made and assembled (depending on part availability), 6-8 weeks to have the metal enclosures fabricated and finished, and about 4-5 weeks for faceplates. Final assembly and calibration generally occurs at a rate of about 10 units per week. Once everything is complete, we box up the units and ship them out to customers that have been patiently waiting in the order queue.
What is B-Stock product?
Occasionally we are able to offer a limited quantity of units as "B-Stock" for a discounted price. These units may have faceplates or enclosures that don't meet our stringent requirements for cosmetic appearance–there may be minor blemishes like small scratches, nicks, or streaks. Or these units may be factory refurbished or open box units. Otherwise they are fully functional, like-new items that have been comprehensively tested and calibrated, and have a full warranty like any other new product.
Will you defraud my country's customs agency and declare a $200 value so that I can pay less in import duties and taxes?
Sorry, but we are not in the business of breaking the law. We value the privilege of selling our products to overseas customers and would like to continue doing so. Just think of the Silver Bullet as a more expensive product that we have deeply discounted to help offset your taxes and duties. See how nice we are?
What are the differences between the Void Corp Edition and the Silverface unit?
The biggest difference is the Void Corp Edition features a limited black anodized front panel. As of 8/1/22 the Void Corp Edition also features custom wound T-70 and T-68B transformers in the A and N Mojo Amp circuits to ensure global supply chain issues will not affect the Void Corp Board of Trustees' capactity to manufacture these units. Sonically the transformer used in the A Mojo Amp is virtually identical to that of the Silverface to our ears. The transformer used in the N Mojo Amp exhibits about 0.3 dB more roll-off at 20 kHz compared to the one used in the Silverface. Both versions sound exceptional (like a Silver Bullet!) and are appropriate for all styles of music. Just choose the front panel color you like and make some music.
Can I upgrade my silverfaced Silver Bullet to a Void Corp Edition?
The Void Corp Board of Trustees does not sanction making these exclusive features available as upgrades to existing Silver Bullet owners. They will be unique to these limited edition units. No principled supporter of the Rogue Planet Command mission should ever consider going over to the dark side of Void Corp. User modifications will also void your warranty.
Cascading MOJO for the 2-bus is a cool concept. Who originated this kind of product?
We did. Development of the original Silver Bullet began in 2012 and was announced and exhibited at AES in 2014. After a lot of hard work the first run of Silver Bullets began shipping at the end of 2015. A product of its class did not exist on the market until we took the creative leap to make it a reality. Someday the big mega-corps may get get hip and try to claim the concept as their own.
Will DIYRE Colour Modules work in the expansion slots?
Definitely. The two internal Colour slots will accept any module that our friends at DIY Recording Equipment makes or sells.
We began with our proven Silver Bullet design trusted by thousands of artists and working professionals. Then we expanded its existing capabilities and added some new tricks we think you are going to love. This is the same Silver Bullet, only evolved.
Process your 2-bus, individual tracks, or microphone sources through cascading combinations of three analog Mojo Amps:
A: American console
N: British console
C: Custom Mojo Modules / Colour Modules via internal expansion slots
Simple GAIN and OUTPUT controls allow you to gain stage the A and N Mojo Amps into the sweet spot. C-DRV and C-MIX controls allow you to intuitively control the amount of drive for Mojo Amp C, and blend the dry and processed signals.
The 3-band Baxandall EQ has a Pultec inspired low end and a smooth and expensive sounding top end that stands in a class with the most renowned mastering EQs. The beloved AIR circuit from the original Silver Bullet now has its own dedicated control. The original LF and HF frequency settings have been expanded to a total of 4 frequencies per band.
Tighten up the extreme bottom end with the TIGHT filter. The slightly resonant and tape-like 25 Hz setting excels on mixes, while the new 50 Hz filter is optimized for tracking individual instruments.
Smooth out digital top end with the silky VINTAGE mode inspired by legendary 1970’s British consoles.
ASPECT RATIO is a new analog processor that musically enhances the stereo width, height, and clarity of your mix. This isn't one of those cheap sounding, phasey widening effects that leaves you wondering if you are messing up your soundstage or balance. ASPECT RATIO delivers masterful results at the touch of a single button. No fussy tweaking or second guessing required. We spent the last year perfecting this circuit so you can get on with perfecting your mix.
No overly hyped superlatives or flowery language required. The Silver Bullet mk2 is a results-oriented processor with a simple and intuitive interface. If you can operate a guitar amp then the controls will feel very familiar. We designed this box to always give you amazing tone, so you focus on creating the music, and not fiddling with the knobs.

To streamline your hybrid workflow there are dedicated Mic, Track, and Mix inputs that feed the separate Track and Mix outputs. Each channel also features fully balanced insert Send and Return jacks than can be switched into the signal path from the front panel. Automatic insert bypass modes streamline your workflow and are enabled by default, but can be manually overridden.
A dual-interface expansion slot allows for tonal exploration. The Silver Bullet mk2 comes pre-installed with the optional Mojo Module you select. You can populate the stereo module slot or the two mono analog plugin slots (one per channel) to build your dream signal path. Configure your Silver Bullet mk2 with tape/transformer saturation, compressor, EQ, or even tube modules.

The new stereo C Mojo Amp interface supports a high voltage power rail, and compressor gain reduction indication. Silver Bullet mk2 features our new Hypermatter Power Supply. We spent the last couple years developing a state-of-the-art power supply truly fit for the demands of high-resolution audio. The goal was simple: to create a superior power delivery system whose noise, voltage regulation, and transient response performance is unparalleled. Since an audio circuit is only as good as its power supply, every component choice was scrutinized to render dynamic sound with revealing detail, dimension, and gut-punching authority. These choices were also made with reverence to the sonic vibe established by the original Silver Bullet. The Hypermatter PSU architecture uses an external switch mode power supply (SMPS) in conjunction with an internal regulation and filter module. The internal Hypermatter PCB assembly uses cutting edge LDO regulators, and nothing but the best components to bring Silver Bullet mk2 to life in ways that must be heard. Your music has never felt more alive.
We chose every component in Silver Bullet mk2 by ear for maximum mojo and sonic synergy with the rest of the circuit. Our meticulous development process involved both empirical measurement and real-world studio use to validate the design. We also leveraged what we learned designing and building the original Silver Bullet and Chroma+. In this design you will find high end parts from Nichicon, Panasonic, Vishay, Susumu, Wima, TI, and Analog Devices. All audio path resistors are 0.5% or 0.1% thin film types for low distortion and noise. Silver Bullet mk2 also features custom American wound transformers and our very own ROGUE FIVE discrete op amps. Our PCBs use high temperature Tg 170 material for long-term reliability. The modular nature of the PCB design facilitates remote troubleshooting and easy user servicing. The entire assembly is RoHS compliant (lead free). All final assembly and testing is performed in the by our team of audio nerds at Rogue Planet Command.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be "like new" and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all original materials (power supply, power cord, product card, etc.). Please refrain from racking 19 inch rackmount gear during this trial period so that the faceplate and enclosure don't get scratched.
To complete your return, just give us a call or shoot us an email, and we'll send you instructions for packing up your unit and shipping it back. Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping costs and we ask that you insure the unit for its full retail value to protect against loss or damage. You are responsible for ensuring the products arrive safely at our shop. Once we receive and inspect the unit we will issue a refund for the purchase price less the cost of shipping. Units received in any condition other than "like new" may be subject to a restocking fee.
We ship to (just about) any address in the world via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL Express. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping delivery times for you based on your location and the shipping option you choose. Delivery time estimates are given on the checkout page. Once payment is approved, in stock products, other than Silver Bullets will ship out from Rogue Planet Command within 2-3 business days. We ship Silver Bullets within 7-10 business days. Once an order ships you will be sent tracking information via email and/or Facebook Messenger (if selected at checkout). Please coordinate with the shipping company to have your package held for pickup if you know you will not be home when the package is expected to arrive.
Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are dimensional weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, weights may be rounded up to the next full pound. We may substitute UPS for FedEx ground service and vice versa. We also may upgrade UPS and FedEx ground service to USPS Priority Mail if we are feeling extra nice.
Also note that international customers are required to pay all import duties and taxes required by their respective countries. When filling out customs forms we declare the actual purchase price. Please do not ask us to declare lower values.
If you reside outside of North America, we highly recommend DHL Express when ordering a Silver Bullet for the quickest delivery and with zero customs headaches. If you are in Canada we recommend selecting USPS instead of FedEx or UPS since the customs process is easier and less money.
We require a signature for all Silver Bullet orders to help ensure you safely receive the package.

When can I expect to receive a response to my email or phone call?
Most emails or phone calls will receive a friendly reply within 24 hours, and often within just a few hours. However, sometimes we get sucked into the glorious nebula of designing and building products. Or need to do laundry, shop for groceries, or sleep. We appreciate your patience as we balance the demands of our intergalactic commitments, and try to enjoy time off on the weekends. Please don't be upset if an email you sent on Friday evening doesn't get returned until Monday or Tuesday morning.

How much will it cost to ship my order overseas?
Our shopping cart has a shipping calculator that is configured to estimate shipping to anywhere in the world. All you have to do is add a product to the cart and then click the cart icon in the upper right corner of your browser. At that point you can select your country, province, and enter your postal code. A list of available shipping options will be displayed after you click Calculate Shipping. As mentioned above, international customers are responsible for paying all import duties and taxes for their respective countries.
What shipping option do you recommend for European customers?
If you are ordering a Silver Bullet or 500 series module, we highly recommend that you select DHL Express shipping. DHL acts as the customs broker and offers exceptionally quick door-to-door service. We've been seeing packages arrive in the UK in 4-5 days. There is no hand off with local postal services like there is with USPS so you will know where your package is every minute of the day by accessing the tracking information. They will require you to pay all customs and import taxes before delivering the package to your door.
My country charges high import taxes. Can you adjust the customs value to help me out?
Sorry, but no. As a rule, we declare the actual purchase price on all customs forms. Defrauding a foreign government is not a wise business move.
Do you accept wire transfers, ACH payments, or Paypal as forms of payment?
We only accept payment through our online store using major credit and debit cards at this time.
How are you guys able to sell products of this quality level at these impossibly affordable prices?
We simply reject the notion that a middleman like a dealer or distributor needs to come between the guy that designs and builds the gear and the artist that uses it. By adopting a direct sales model we have been able to pass that savings onto our customers. Do you really want to pay 30% more for your gear? All we ask in return is that you make lots of great music and help spread the word about our company and products.
Can I have my favorite pro audio dealer get me a Silver Bullet?
Sure, if you want to pay more money for our products. See the question above. Our pricing model does not allow for typical dealer margins. Really. If you'd like to order 10 Silver Bullets we'd be happy to give you a sweet discount though.
I just bought a used unit from some dude online. Can I have the seller send it to you first to check out?
As a policy, we decline to get in the middle of third party transactions on used gear. If you receive the unit and it requires repair please contact us and we can go over service options.
